I love how the Isles won a series against Jagrs Panthers....their first playoff series win in 23 years, when they beat Jagrs Penguins

Caps/Pens should be in the Eastern Conference finals not the next round. fricking stupid the way they do the playoffs now.

Yeah, if the Caps series can't start on Thursday, the first game will be Saturday. It's a pretty good bet NBC will want the Caps-Pens series for its Saturday broadcast, like it had Pens-Rangers. Work from there. That'll be either Game 1 or 2, depending, so the next game will almost certainly be Monday and then next on Wednesday/Thursday and then another Saturday game. I think they'll want to guarantee two Saturday games, and if you work the schedule out, make a potential Game 7 on the third Saturday.
So given all that, I think Game 1 will be on Saturday. Long wait, which sucks.

The only thing that could save the Blues, is to be down a goal middle 3rd, and Hitch cant go into,"Operation shutdown of offense". So they tie it and score late to win. Blues get lead early and he will choke the offense again and Hawks will come back to win it.
Blues and game 7's haven't been pretty. I still remember being at work, and having my Father text me when some one scored. It was leafs and Blues, and my beeper was buzzing up a storm, all Leafs goals. I think they won 6 or 8 to 1. Blues tend to bend over and ask for Another when it comes to game 7's.
Like i said before series started, Home team between these 2 mattered little. Both can win on each others ice, with no problems.

And that also includes the home games.
Like Sergio Momesso was saying on the radio today, Tarasenko should be on the ice, every shift he can play.
Q double shifts toews and Kane, and keeps Tank off the ice. It's asinine. But thie is Hitch post season deal. Plays playoff hockey in regular season to build up points, then pulls the reigns and makes them play 2-1 games.
And that also includes the home games.
