They play better on road for some reason. On the plus side, we get to see the Blues roll out their awesome white jerseys and the Sharks break out their beautiful teal jerseys.

I am too. Why did all the teams stop wearing white at home? That was a really odd quirk that came out of nowhere. I hate the dumb shoestrings teams are wearing on their uniforms as well. They look out of place and serve no purpose.

I think white on the road has been going on for a long time. I just stumbled on a reddit thread while looking for explanation. They said it's too tough for a road team to carry multiple sets of jerseys when home teams want to break out an alternate, so it's easiest to have the road team wearing white as a default.
I agree on the shoestrings. It's fine for a Winter Classic retro sweater, but not an everyday jersey.

White on road has only been a regular occurrence since 2006 or so. MLB teams wear alternate jerseys at home all the time. They never have a problem with it. Oh well. I'm looking forward to seeing what jersey Blues break out for Winter Classic. I'd like to see the badass "trumpet" logo brought back.
