Tarasenko on the cover makes me want the game. Didn't Madden have different versions of the game on different consoles?

I think back when the PS4 was new and they made them for both consoles there was a lot of difference between them, but not anymore. They pretty much only update the new console versions now.

Hockey Ultimate Team is a lot of fun, about all I play.

I wish Madden and NHL would change the announcers or have alternate announcers since I hate Nantz/Simms, Emrick is so so. Guess it would cost too much to have alternate announcers.

One of these days I'm going to buy a PS4. Looking forward to to new Gran Turismo game.

There are others I like more. I like watching the CBC broadcasts since I like the announcers better. Wasn't Thorne and Clement on the older NHL games?

Yes they were. An awesome tandem. Thorne is almost as good as Emrick . I hate ESPN but miss the hockey.

Thorne is way better than Emrick. ESPN and the NHL were a perfect match.

Not sure about that. They are both really good. Btw. Calling a hockey game is the hardest thing to call in sports. And it's not even close.

I am sure Thorne is better than Emrick. I loved his dramatic end of game calls in the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Finals. I just like his voice that much more. Really sucks he doesn't call hockey anymore.

I agree hockey is difficult to call with all the change with puck possession. As far as their booth is, I don't know how they instantly know what player has possession of the puck.

I wish I owned a copy of the 1994 ECF and SCF. Great drama. I think Strader/Pang called that brawl. Could be wrong. Dead Wings/Avalanche was a great rivalry back then.

I liked the guy who did edmonton games and some sportnet, had a distinctive sound, Bruce Buchanan

It really is, that's what makes Emrick so damn good. I can have the game on and be in the kitchen making food and just listen to him without seeing the game and know exactly what is going on

Yes, been a fan since Hull and Shanahan days. Red Wings have had some great teams over the years ago.

I used to play NHL '98 on PC a lot. Hughson and Reagh were the announcers. Ever since then both have been among my favorite announcers. Didn't think Hughson lasted that long on the EA series. Thought Thorne was on the game later on.

Don't know who the Oilers announcers are. Louie DeBrusk was an analyst for them.
