What a great game by the Preds tonight! Down 2-0, coming back to 2-2, then down 3-2 after a dumbass penalty to win it 4-3 in overtime. This is exhausting but awesome. Up next? Game 7.

I've converted a few in my office. But it's mostly Stars, Caps, and Rangers transplants down here. Anyways, frick them.

It's unfair to say that we would've closed it out already but i think he would have helped immensely. Hell our PP is what, 8% this series? Having him back would absolutely increase that, resulting in more wins.

I stupidly went to bed last night at the end of regulation in the Sharks-Preds game because I thought, "I don't want to get sucked into a long OT game." Three minutes into OT? What a rip off. I totally should have stayed up for that.
The Blues-Stars game was silly. Mrs. Baloo was a nervous wreck throughout, but she survived what she called the forty minute power play. Holy hell. That was ridiculous. Stars had no business winning that game, and that final save with 20 seconds? No way Kari even saw the puck. Better to be lucky than good sometimes.
Two Games 7. Let's make it three tonight.

Will there be a Seguin appearance in game 7? I'm going to be nervous as all hell watching that one while bowling. Good thing is that I've already talked to the manager to make sure it gets put on the screens over the seating area.

Looking for the Caps to start connecting on opportunities. They've played too well this series for the shitty results they've been getting.

Well, the Crosby show has been no-show. 0 goals, 2 assists, -2 rating. If Ovi were doing that, he'd be getting KILLED in the media. But it's more that Backstrom has just been amazing defensively this postseason... give him credit for shutting down Giroux as well.

I'd be shocked. The one time he's touched the ice this post season he was terrible.

as my fellow Cap friends say, this is the eternal sadness. If not tonight, it will be some type of Sid the Kid hat trick for a blowout in Game 6 or OT heartbreak.
And there is nothing Peej could do that could make the Caps more haunted and cursed than they already are with respect to the Penguins.
I am going to watch the Nats game and hope that I am pleasantly surprised.
