Lotsa teams. I think 2 of the series are 3-1, though. Others are tied.

Being around sports puts an end to any attempts at quitting, unless you're REALLY serious about it. Which, I am not

1 win from a ECF without Stamkos and Stralman is amazing, who both could return for that series.

Yeah, the Lightning are showing some resiliency this postseason.

It's been a great hard fought series so far, the Islanders are tough as nails. Now, the Lightning have been out played during stretches of the 1st period, but overall the Lightning have done OK. When we take into account the 11-2 1st period PP disadvantage the Lightning have faced, it's amazing what they're doing! An 11-2 power-play deficit, at the start, is a deep hole for any team to dig itself out of. Especially an injured one! You're most likely going to get out shot when you play shorthanded 25% of the 1st periods anyways. After the announcers mentioned the 1st period PP difference last night, I went and looked at the difference. The announcers are spot on! The Islanders have enjoy an 8-0 PP advantage before the Lightning had a PP called their way in the 1st. Total 1st period PP advantage is at 11-2 (22 minutes of 80 minutes) for the Islanders. The Lightning deserve major props for overcoming those odds while so injured.

PP for Islanders before Lightning get a PP

1st period game 1
2-0 Islander PP advantage

1st period game 2
3-0 Islander PP advantage

1st period game 3
Lightning got 1st PP advantage

1st period game 4
3-0 Islander PP advantage

In 2 of 4 games the Lightning were shorthanded 18 minutes of 40 minutes, that's almost 1/2 of the time SH. This is were the Islanders blew it, they should've gotten bigger leads than 1-0 both times. Hopefully the Lightning keep defying the odds and finish this tough Islander team....

Go Lightning !!!!

Blues were sloppy but you expect a push from Dallas in that first. Just need to settle down and tighten up in the neutral zone especially. Stars killed us in the transition game.

Hate to echo cliches but its time to chip pucks deep and establish a forecheck. Cant turn pucks over where we have against a team like Dallas.
