Nothing like cheering for a team from CANADA because their opponent has a liberal fanbase.
Especially Vancouver, the home of the dirty hippies. I absolutely LOVE Vancouver, but it might be the most liberal place in North America. It makes Boston look like Dallas.

Great game, and Tim Thomas has got to be pissed. He carried the Bruins all night, put the team in position to steal the game, and they couldn't manage one lousy goal to help him out. He made some amazing saves.

Vancouver was +11 on the Corsi, which isn't surprising. The Canucks dominated the flow of the play at even strength. Once Boston failed on a 5-on-3, I was pretty sure they were never going to score. It was a defensive, low-scoring game, which favors Boston, and they still lost.

Great goal to win it. Kesler is one step closer to winning the Conn Smythe. I can never keep track of who the refs are supposed to be trying to screw over, but I think they got the call right. Or at least it was close enough to be a judgment call.

Dear Bruins -- Die in a fire.

I love Vancover, lots of good chinese retaurants, saw really hot chicks at the nude beach, Stanley Park, and a couple of good bars near UBC

We stayed in Yaletown, which has more great Japanese food than we knew what to do with it. And salmon. Lots and lots of salmon. I don't even LIKE salmon, and I though it was delicious.

After a second watching, Boychuck is really killing the Bs on defense. Claude won't do it but I'd like to see him moved to the 3rd D pairing, swap him w/ Kaberle to keep Kessler's line in play.

Take away the G Force and Pernell's effort Round 1 the PP isn't horrible. I think it speaks more to Les Habitants effort and commitment to PK than Boston needing a Viagra for PP

Check Boston is like 8% on Powerplay for the playoffs...fact is no Stanley cup winning team has ever been less than 20%

But 0 for 31 in round 1 does that. I don't think they're awful after that round, somewhat bad but not awful.

I think we saw the best of the bruins wed night and it wasnt good enough, I wonder what the meltdown would be if Kabs resigns for less $$$ with the Leafs in the offseason after the Bruins got raped in the trade?

Depends on what is happening with the Pats, Celtics and Sox at the time. That would be my guess, but there would be at least some melting down.
