Haha yeah sorry sch. Booked it last minute at lunch yesterday. It’s a get in, get out trip. I take a redeye out about 5 hours after the game I’m going straight to Aria when I land to gamble a little then wander around the strip/arena till puck drop. Just had a big lunch and hydrating for now but yeah Vegas has kicked my arse twice before. I’ll probably have a good buzz going into the game and then win/lose party it up.
There’s a group of us going down to Cap one watch party tonight and it’ll suck a little not being in DC for it if we win, but I couldn’t pass this trip up and I can celebrate with everyone at the parade if and when there is one. It was cheaper to fly out for this game and get section 120 seats (Caps shoot twice) than it would to get a nosebleed corner seat for Game 6. It was a no brainer when you consider the possibility of seeing us lifting the Cup tonight. Hasn’t really hit me yet.

So damn nervous...was in Montreal for the past two games for work and it was 90% Caps fans at the bars. They love Ovie up there.
Unfortunately in Chicago for work and not in DC right now. If they win tonight, I will be probably put in the loony bin for being the only Caps fan around.
