I was pleased with how we played last night. Thought Bob played well yet was also the goalie who allowed the weakest goal of the game (the first one) which bodes well because it wasn't a good goal but we still won (and he didn't let it faze him/his confidence much).
Felt we were the better team overall. Now, part of that is prob because when you are up (which Wash was pretty much all of the second and third periods) you tend to lose your aggressiveness (that's why there are advanced stats about Corsi adjusted by score). Regardless, I would have felt okay about our chances in the series after last night even if we would have lost it in the OT. I feel really good since we're up.

No punishment for the hit on Barrie apparently. DOPS is an absolute joke

Tom Wilson avoided a suspension too. Not enough angles. It’s 2018 and that is the excuse they are using.

The precedent was set when they suspended Doughty for his hit in game 1. This was worse than the Doughty hit

On Doughty? He hit him shoulder Carrier ducked his head. If they’d given him a penalty real time I’d say give him a game. But my deal is you can’t or shouldn’t retro a penalty. JMO

There’s only 3 games tonight after there was 5 last night. It’s interesting why someone didn’t schedule 4 games so it’s balanced each night.
