Yeah, all those long suffering Golden Knights fans have really had a tough time all these years.

I feel the worst for Caps and Blues fans. And, you have the Canada drought. Heck, even relatively new fanbases like Nashville and Columbus have paid their dues. That's why this feels so wrong.

If you’re a blues fan, you’re with the terrorists.

I'm originally from New Orleans and a lifelong Saints fan. I've been on the other side. This is MUCH better!

Fan of last Canadian team to win it and team that owns the most

So I’m good until I see the current roster

Oh you have no clue EastBank. You really do not understand anything I’m afraid.

Just enjoy the lie. It’s okay.

I know a lot of Blues fans will be angry if Golden Knights win. I know Golden Knights fans haven’t had to see their team flop in the playoffs year after year. But I won’t be bitter if Golden Knights win. I really like Reaves, so I would like to see him hoist the cup. Especially if Capitals advance.

I wish that I could say so.

I do my share of betting but I stick to the cardinal rule of not making bets involving teams that I root for.

It's gonna be fun listening to the local betting shows tomorrow. The books are torn, because they have to publicly support VGK but they'll get arse blasted if VGK somehow win the Cup. That said, it's nothing that they wouldn't make up in couple of months.

Fair point. Do you live in Las Vegas? I have been on the other side of it too. I was a Rams fan for just 4-5 years when they won a Super Bowl. Then ripped away 2 years ago. Now I hope they lose every game. I’ve accepted the Blues may never win in my lifetime.

This is my 2nd time living in Vegas. I originally came out here in the late 70's. It was a sightly different town then.

I would have been cheering for the Jets had they not been playing VGK. I really hated seeing Winnipeg lose the first incarnation of the Jets to Colorado, then having to watch them win the Cup in their first season there. That had to be brutal beyond comprehension, so I was glad to see them get the Jets back when the Thrashers left Atlanta.

I can see the casinos losing a lot of money if they do win. I'm sure several locals bet on the Knights as a joke from the novelty of finally having a professional team. The odds had to be have been crazy.

Fake news

The Jets went to Arizona
The Nordiques went to Denver
The Rockies were originally from Kansas City

So may want to know your facts first.

Die hard Blues fan, and Vegas became my fallback after that awesome recognition for Vegas first home game right after the terrorist attack. Hard not to want the best for them and the city after that. Couldn't be more excited.

Touche'...still sucks that Winnipeg lost the Jets the first time out, though. There, that should soothe your butthurt a bit.

I've heard of VGK being 500/1 at that some point and supposedly there's a few of those tickets out there. Obviously, the odds dropped quickly as the season started. I have a couple of friends that work at different books on the Strip and they said that hey also took many bets from visiting fans that came in to see their team play and just decided to put a little coin on VGK, mostly as a goof.
