Yeah, Las Vegas has been through a lot after the heinous mass shooting last year. That was awesome how the team honored the first responders in the first home game. I just really like Reaves, and wish the best for him when not playing against my team.

Heck, even relatively new fanbases like Nashville and Columbus have paid their dues. That's why this feels so wrong.

Eh, I was a massive Atlanta fan, and even though I don't pull for the Jets against hardly anyone,I can only tip my cap to McPhee,Gallant, and the rest of the Vegas organization.

What they've accomplished, with players and staff that were largely available to other teams, is very impressive. The organization has earned this moment, even though I understand the frustration of rival fans.

Go Knights.

I wouldn’t even have the guts to bet $5 on Golden Knights before the season. I would love to travel to Las Vegas again. I only been once. And that was when I was a youth when I was too young to enjoy much.

Nordiques went to Denver in 1995. And won it all that same year. Jets went to Phoenix the next year.

My initial thoughts were that Vegas had a strong defense, and Fleury is a great person to have in goal. I did think they would have trouble scoring goals and that would limit them.

Once they got Fluery hot in playoffs teams had no shot. He is big time goalie.

Everyone in the organization was highly visible around town after that horrific even and it definitely made an impact. T-Mobile Arena is right by where that took place, so you're reminded of it every time you go there. They also recently brought in the sons of the late Humboldt hockey coach to see a game and visit with Marc-Andre Fleury afterwards. LINK

Safe to say that he's shed the "caves late in the playoffs tag."

Caving is harsh. Usually those Penguins would just forget to play defense. Amazing when they got the role guys how they went back to back

Every goalie has caved in a playoff. The greatest goalie in Cup Playoff history caved vs Minnesota

Yes sir. He caved. He let some horrendous ones in and Game 7 was awful. They also were up 3-1

I vaguely remember that. That was his last run too. I thought once Red Wings lost to Ducks, the Avalanche had an easy run to the Stanley Cup Finals. But it didn’t play out that way. Wild made it all the way to the conference finals that year. And haven’t been back since.

Roy also had a really bad exit in 2002 too.

3 things concerned me about VGK going into the playoffs. One of them was that they have a tendency to get sloppy on defense in front of the net. If Fleury doesn't make probably the biggest save of the playoffs on Logan Couture in OT of Game 3 against the Sharks, VGK may not have survived that series.

Winnipeg dominated possession time and shots in many points during this series. One thing about VGK...they've been incredibly resilient and exceptional about taking advantage of their opportunities.

Someone's triggered.

Especially in light of VGK going to the Cup Finals...

I've gone to 4-5 games this season but haven't made a playoff game yet. Sadly, I've yet to achieve OT baller status.

They have numerous watch parties around the valley. There's a pub in VGK's practice facility that does lots of things for the game. I've gone there a couple of times during the playoffs and it gets CRAZY.

I understand that your posts in this thread have been as comical as watching "election night reactions" videos. You'd fit in well in one of those. Hell, now you've even taken to crying in another thread.
