Huge win, but the Caps know that winning Game 1 doesn't win you the series. Only thing to complain about is a poor third period, but the lead was nearly insurmountable. It mattered more because it gave the Lightning confidence and a road map for the next game. Caps let up, and you need to kill a team when you have the chance.
Vaslievsky let up some soft goals, too. Can't count on that going forward. I'm reluctant to say there's any real carry over from this one. Bolts had a bad game. Don't count on it happening again.
