Notre Dame is asking for $60,000,000 per year in its next tv deal. I could see ND joining the ACC if NBC doesn’t pay ND that.
IMO, the ACC should tell Notre Dame “We added Cal, Stanford, and SMU because you were pushing for it. You either join us for football or we will cancel your sweetheart deal and stop scheduling you in football and kick your other sports out.” I highly doubt that the ACC has the chest to do that but it is what they need to do.

The defectors have more than enough votes to dissolve the conference. I don’t know what happens with the name but frankly I would rather be in a conference named the Mountain West instead of a conference name reminds you that they have been gutted.
