It's been a little bit of a shite show over there the first half, but I'm not sure how much of that is Matheny's fault.

I thought he was a horrible hire back then.
And Mo(gm/pobb) is the big reason for the woes, he put this shitty roster together.
This is bad for NL central, while Mike was there, the team was always going to be out managed.

I know a bunch of Cards fans who will be pleased.
I haven’t followed as much this season as i have in years past. I don’t know if it’s because they haven’t been as good or because the Braves have been a little bit better.

Because he's trash, he's never gotten better, Mozeliak needs to be right behind him though as he assembled this shite team. Needed to sell off pieces when Waino had some value, Molina could still earn a return, Holliday was ours, and Peralta wasn't trash. Instead we held onto all of them and got nothing in return except no core players to move forward with.
Also the hiring of Matheny made me sick at turned me off to the organization as a whole after growing up watching them. They gave a guy who had never managed a World Series Champion and allowed him to learn on the job. That is so mind boggling to me.
