If you are above at least your own 35 yardline. And it is 4th and 4 or less. You should be going for it every single time. It kills me when I see a team have great momentum on their drive. Only to come to 4th and 3 on like the 50. Then the team elects to punt. I believe all it would take is 1 coach who has the tenure and pull with the athletic department, to give this a shot.

I think it was Mississippi St this weekend, opening drive, still 9 minutes left in the 1st freaking quarter. 4th and 2 from the opponent's 36 yardline, they intentionally take a delay then punt.

Absolutely mindbottling.

A 2 QB offense. As in there are always two QBs on the field.

Not sure how that possibly works.

I’ve seen it in HS. A team had 3 different guys take snaps they ran Wing T and Single Wing Offense.

They would run double passes and reverse passes.

I'm in a 2 QB fantasy league. It works fine.

Imagine Tebow lined up next to Big Ben in the red zone.

Which one is getting the snap? Is it a run? Jump pass? Throw to the tight end in the corner? Slant pattern? Handoff to Bell? Fake off tackle run by Tebow?

I don't understand why when RBs know that that they're about to be dropped for a big loss on a sweep, they just don't chuck the ball out of bounds.

Illegal man downfield.
Potential to fumble while trying to hurry and get a pass off.

Wouldn't offensive linemen be rolling out to block downfield?

Roster spots are precious, so this will never happen - but I'd love to see an NFL team sign some 7ft Euromonster Basketball player to put in on FG's & XP's, or throw jump balls to in the end zone if he has good hands.

This isn’t crazy, but I can never understand in 3rd and 6+ from the 30 to the 50 are always running plays that imply the need to convert the 3rd down.

Well if just Tebow is at QB every single one of those points still stand except for who takes the snap, and Tebow wasn't exactly lighting it up at QB.

Yeah. You know when things are so crazy, you get your thoughts trapped, like in a bottle.

A foul ball specialists.

Baseball teams (obviously) would put this guy in to foul off as many balls possible to wear down a pitcher.

(Pitcher is dominating; pinch hit the specialist strategically to foul off as many balls
As possible to raise pitch count and eventually get him pulled)

I'll take my chances with my best overall hitters

Fake kneel and throw it deep before half.

I think someone tried this recently on the college level and it is apparently against the rules because the refs tell the players to relax on plays like this or something like that

Posted by Buckeye06 on 11/13/17 at 3:11 pm to ctiger69 4 TEs. Unstoppable to defend in the current NFL and College league. Get 4 pass catching TEs and no one could stop you. Run the ball down their throats with 4 guys as big or bigger than LBers then next play have them running 15 yards down the middle of the field against DBs 5'' shorter

There are hardly 4 good receiving TEs in the entire league and TE development is even worse on the college level

On a last second "hailmary" opportunity, let's say 70 yards out.. instead of throwing it as far as you can down to the 20 yard line, instead have the ball snapped to a qb who throws it 30 yards backwards to a WR (which it becomes a punt return, building a blocking wall) trying to create a hole for a "Kickoff Return" style play. The defense will have no idea it's guarding a special teams like play

You just described a running play. A very bad one
