Brady is more efficient yes. Bree's has better numbers in the important categories. Brady has played with better talent. Drew had to start over with arguably the worst franchise in NFL history.
And I would argue marino's 84 season as the all around greatest

Stupid that people think Ray Lewis is the best LB.
Why? Think of how many of those voters have never seen LT play a down of football before. It isn't their fault LT retired in 1993. They are just more familiar with Ray Lewis.. who knew?
The audacity of some people!!!!!!
But LT is the answer. He is one of two defensive players to ever win the NFL MVP award.
Ray Lewis is the only LB to have 40+sacks and 30+ interceptions in his career, not bad.

Describe to me what you mean by legacy.

Agreed which is why I have him over manning, but he didn't start putting up incredible numbers until he got top level talent.

ill just say nobody thinks "Greatest of all time" when thinking about drew brees

Not answering my question? And who gives a shite what people think of? People think of joe Namath and Troy aikman as all time greats.

It's really the only one of the three to discuss..
Rice is the all time Great WR.
At the same time. Did Montana make Rice, did Rice make Montana? Or are they both pretty good..
Brady is doing it with a lot of no name WR's. Only one that was a great name was Randy Moss, and they lost that Super Bowl. Both of the Super Bowls lost by the Patriots were not on Brady as much as other people. Brady last year had arguably a very good game.

Well, that's probably because it's wrong. I love Brees. He's my favorite player ever, but Brady has had a better career. That's what you would base the GOAT off of.

Brady took Reche Caldwell and Jabar Gaffney as a WR duo to an 18 point lead in the AFC Championship
Thought this is relevant to this thread

41.5 sacks over 17 seasons is less than 3 per season. 32 interceptions over 17 seasons, is less than 2 per season. He's the Brett Farve of linebackers.

You're describing something very unimportant. Generally, the number say Brees > Brady. I have them tied because it's a back and forth looking at their accomplishments, numbers, etc...and also pitting things into context. If You want to go by numbers Manning is the GOAT for now. If you want to go by championships, then you might have to consider Starr or graham
