People forget Alex Cora booting an inning ending double play ball one or two pitches later.

In Cora's defense, Alex Gonzalez did it.

Blasphemous.

but I'm sure only OU fans and SFP feel that way here

You're GD right. That is one of the most entertaining football games I've ever watched that didn't involve one of my own teams. The hitch and ladder was one of the most beautifully executed plays of all time.

Also, USA beating England in 1950 is an overrated event, both in terms of shock and significance.

Jeter's flip home and probably a half dozen other 'only Derek Jeter' plays (there was another where he dove face first into the seats, for no apparent reason, after making a catch).

Willie Mays' "The Catch." Obviously one of the best to ever play, but that is not even close to the best catch ever (best OF catch ever was Jim Edmonds in KC).

Kevin Mitchell's barehanded catch. Use your damn glove, moron.

I'm a big soccer fan and have literally never even seen anything about this in video. Nor does anyone mention it a lot.

Jordan's game winner vs. Utah. Complete push off/no call in the history of Basketball. That play was NOTHING special. (I was a Bulls fan)

He pushed off, but it was still a championship winning shot. To this point, the last championship the Bulls have won. As a fan, you find nothing special about that?

When you consider the time, down and distance, one of the best plays I've ever seen. Better than the statue of liberty IMO.

Similar to John Starks dunk on the Bulls team in the playoffs.

1. The dunk WASN'T on the entire team

2. The Knicks lost the series in 6 games.

Knick fans hold on to this moment because they don't have much else.

Something no one ever sees. Ever. Is on your list of moments/events you are tired of seeing?

Strange. Where do you live? Mars?
