As far as UK goes, both of my parents are diehard fans and that's what we watched in my household before I was born. Have pics of me as a newborn sporting UK gear and have a cassette of me singing On, On UofK at 2 1/2.
I guess I became "aware" of sports when I was school age (5,6) but I'm convinced I've been conditioned by my parents from birth.

Well I went to GT but I have rooted for Arkansas longer so I'll go with them:
1) Ark football/ND 42 years
2) Green Bay Packers/Dallas Cowboys 43 years
3) St Louis Cards/New York Mets 42 years
don't really care about anything else that much, the one and done rule ruined CBB for me
I don't tend to hate my teams' biggest rivals, I hate the teams that the national media fellates even when they suck. I hate the Mets instead of the Yankees because the Yankees are actually the best franchise in MLB (even though they mostly buy that position) while the Mets have a very mediocre history but get more hype than they deserve for being in NYC.

Thought I would throw a little curve ball in there.
The first live sporting event I ever attended was a meet in Tuscaloosa that my dad took me to. I was around 6 or so. It was Sarah Patterson's first season, I think.
She is the only coach left that was hired by Bear Bryant.

Sounds good to me! They hate the little brother thing, but it's completely true. It kills WSU that UW considers Oregon a bigger rival and I'm guessing that it's the same for OSU.
