I am the same way. I used to be able to give you the everyday lineup for every team . It's just not the same for me anymore. But I did enjoy the last postseason. It's been a long time since I enjoyed it that much. My sport now is college football. I guess when you get older some sports just kinda seem less important.

I even played fantasy baseball making daily lineup changes.
I can't really tell what happened. I just gradually lost interest.

Never got into fantasy sports.... I do know some who are real heavy in it....Of course I am old school and miss the 70's 80's in pro sports....A question for you.. Lets say Barry Bonds had not roided..... Would he still been a 1st ballot HOF'R??????

I'd say yes to Bonds. He was great before he bulked.

I agree... I will just never get why he would do something like that when you are already one of the best....And IMO I doubt Barry cares if he is in the hall or not....

I see we have alot of really ignorant people in here that have no idea what/why/how athletes use performance enhancing drugs. Why do so many assume an athlete has to be jacked and look like a bodybuilder to be using PED's of some sort? I guess it's a reflection of our gullible society. These are hyper competitive, extremely elite athletes that happened to be playing for celebrity fame and a hefty fortune. The real answer and only answer is NONE. No one would surprise me, not when there is such an incentive to use PED's. It's a shame that they still actually test for anything. Everyone, for the most part, has used something one way or another to either get healthy or to put them over the threshold.
I saw Gronkowski earlier? Seriously 6'6" 265 lb NFL tight end that has a lofty injury report and parties like a rockstar would surprise anyone of using PED's?
Jeter? The man that was a MLB shortstop (although a below average one) until he was 40 years old would surprise someone?
Why do so many people in our society choose to live a life with their head in the sand? Why do you idolize athletes and assume they arent humans that would do anything possible to make money?

You cant tell if someone has used PED's by only looking at them, breh.
What does that even mean? What do you think you have proven by posting a pic of an overweight Sandoval?

NFL: Drew Brees
NBA: Tim Duncan
Even though they're both older, which would seem to make them potential candidates to try and dope their way to longevity, they both seem to have too much integrity to do that.

I think people confuse roids and cardio endurance drugs/doping. They look at Serena and see a big chick and assume she is bulking, but she has always been big. Maybe Rafa was using that type of thing when he was young and jacked, but I don't see how it helps much in tennis. Now, doping? That is another story, and there isn't any tennis player I would be surprised if he/she doping like a cyclist. Even Federer. The guy is playing at a high level way longer than 99% of players and has legendary five hour practices in Dubai. If it seems super-human, sometimes it is.

I think part of the problem with saying every player doped is the fact that the rules keep changing. Certain PEDs were not considered illegal at one point, then when they changed the rules a lot of these guys moved on to the next PED. If they were not a banned substance at the time an individual took it, how can you fault the player for using them at that point.
With that said, I also firmly believe that whenever there is a chance in the policy it is the player's responsibility to adapt and make sure the medication/PEDs they are using comply with the new rules. A lot of these leagues allow the players/teams to send in samples so they can have them tested before they start using.
The ONLY exception to this rule would be when a player follows the proper protocol and the manufacturer changes the ingredients without any publication of the change, i.e., the Starcaps case.

Call me crazy/naïve, but I'd be genuinely surprised if any major NBA stars were caught doping and/or with steroids.
I guess I'd give injury rehabs a pass, but as far as outright usage, I'd be surprised by any of the top guys at any point.

You cant differentiate. They are the same thing. If you give rehabbing an injury a pass, then you just give it a pass overall.
