They also have shows about lifeguards and prospectors.

There's a tornado somewhere in Kansas and they're not doing live coverage because they're showing that same special about the 1973 tornado for the ten billionth time.

And they fired all of their real meteorologists and replaced with Erin Andrews clones.

NBC ruined The Weather Channel.

While ESPN has gotten more TMZ-like, you can't blame ESPN radio for going off topic a little bit. All radio is like that.

I am a meteorologist and I got a kick about your comment on the Weather Channel. I agree. If you are an OT9 or OT10, then you got a job with TWC. Turn 50 years old, and your contract is not renewed anymore. LOl.

Guys are watching the women not some old fart getting his tupee blown away in a storm. Half these guys don't know shite about the weather either. Just a joke.

Also, quit making brackets to determine the best of. I lost all respect for Scott van Pelt with his stupid bracket challenge of tv moms. IDGAF.

This. Mad Dog Radio is the best out there. Those guys may all be a bunch of New York bums but they talk sports all the time. It's like sitting in a bar in NY or Boston.

I only watch ESPN for the games and most of the radio I listen to is local.

Watch ESPN games, ignore the talking heads. You pay for sports, not snorts.

Mike and Mike is pretty terrible. One local channel started carrying CBS sports radio and it's better.

I stopped a year and a half ago.
Finally got fed up with the shite shows.
I will watch games and some of the better shows like 30 for 30 but thats about it.

I went from probably watching 20-30 hrs a week to watching 20 hrs a month on average.

Mike and Mike is just silly crap. Give me the results and highlights. No whining, no booyahs, no crappy music. No stupid catch phrases. and top plays of the play don'r always need to be dunking the basketball.

They play to the lowest common denominator.

More guys like John Clayton

I don't really understand the hate for Espn, it's honestly not as bad as y'all make it out to be

Sometimes, I'm annoyed by the things they televise or how much coverage they give to certain teams and topics. That doesn't change the fact that if it was taken away, I would probably be found curled up in the fetal position in my bathtub.

I'm expecting some public backlash towards ESPN once the service providers start re-negotiations with them in the next few years. ESPN has been on a spending spree, they're going to want a lot and I think the service providers will really dig their heels in this time

I haven't updated in a while , but yeah it's time to retire some of the legends and add some these new up and comers over there because there are some promising talents.

Saints Talk could also have its own top 10 now.

any board that worships chadboi as their lead talent scout is a good board IMO

his scouting of Mingo reminded me of when Benny Latino found Toe Nash in a beer league softball game behind Swamie's house

Don't tell ESPN your complaints. They don't care. Everybody should know that.

You have a problem? TELL THE ADVERTISERS? You don't like Mike & Mike's hypocrisy on Mike Rice and/or hours spent discussing his scarf or the Jets? Tell Progressive. If enough people do a sponsor boycott, maybe things will change.

That's how that Muslim reality show got off the air. They didn't go after the network. They went after Lowe's.

lsutigers, I have no clue what you are talking bout with your reference to any liberal media.I was simply using the numbers in a recent article in Sports Illustrated to reflect the amount of control & influence ESPN's suits have over the product viewers get each day. The OP's question was how to fix ESPN. My response was that it cann't, because of its revenues & their importance to what viewers ultimately get to see.
