I mean, you didn't do this

you just said the suburbs.

New York has suburbs like every other city. Therefore the city is better?

the city makes the city better. the suburbs allow you to literally live the life you are talking about while also getting to enjoy everything the city has to offer. i honestly am amazed i am actually having this conversation right now

New York City is the ultimate destination for people who think “my cousin rode on the same subway car as Tina Fey once” is a big deal.

Me too. I could be arguing for L.A. over NY. L.A. has space and breating room going for it. You can live in the city and have a house and a car you use every day and full size grocery stores. I would think you would agree that yes, that is nice compared to NY. But instead you're just nope, New York is better because... Well you haven't really said why.

I believe you, but show me.

There are plenty of them in areas like Flushing and Jamaica. They won't be the massive yards you can get in more rural areas but they exist.

Just pop onto Zillow and you can find plenty of them.

Brooklyn has them too. LINK

You'll get no disagreement from me on that one. The good thing is you likely won't have to worry too much about the housing market in that area crashing b/c that space will always be at a premium.

Yes, NOLA is dirtier and has more crime. So that's something I guess.
