Hmmm, this should be interesting. Not that these programs make bank on football, but I would imagine a good chunk of their funds comes from football. If we can't have 100% capacity in the stands, that's going to hurt.
I won't be in the stands for early season McNeese games if we are going to have to wear masks. Especially if we keep the dumbass 6 PM or earlier kickoffs. Frick a mask in September heat in South Louisiana.

So long as Nicholls can get that payday from LSU this year, I’m cool with this.

A lot of them are going to be in financial trouble without a "money game" from playing a bigger school.
As for capacity limitations, won't be a problem for NSU. We're usually at 50% capacity or less under normal circumstances.

The Southland Conference has more balls than anyone in the FBS right now

That game won't be played this year.

I mean, only 3 of them have a P5 team on the schedule (UCA, Abilene, and Nichols). I can't imagine you get much for playing ULL or Rice. I mean, McNeese got $500k for the LSU game in 2015. No way ULL pays that much, so how much are these other teams actually missing out on?
