see the SEC Rant. Alabama fans have that shite on lockdown.

I hate bama as much as the next guy and it pains me deeply to say this, but when you win every other fricking year, it isn't delusion.

Banks was the #1 WR in the spring if I remember the KNOE story correctly.

Glad to see Tech holding up its tradition of being the most delusional fanbase in college football.

There are quite a bit of Tech fans that are for damn sure. I hope they do well though.

We have better players than people think," Dykes told the paper. "Last year we played Mississippi State, and I swear to you there was no difference in our players and theirs. I was shocked. There was no difference. They might've had a little more depth, but across the board our players were about as good as theirs. We played Ole Miss, and we kinda played 'em at a time that wasn't really good for them, and I think we beat 'em by about 24 points and had better players than they did. I was shocked. I would like to say we coached 'em better or we were real smart and pat ourselves on the back, but we had better players than they did."

He may have had the best spring game stats, but he's the #3 receiver behind Patton and White. He's a very strong #3!

Dykes coulda hauled arse this past offseason. We've got him for a little while atleast

I remember all teh Tech fans I work with and visit on sales calls talking about Dooley. How he was going to be there forever. He was the AD and he was building something special.

The FIRST job that came his way he was gone.

No one is going to stay at Louisiana Tech.

And Tech fan just can't understand that.

Yeah, why would anyone leave a school for the FIRST offer that came along? Maybe the $2,000,000 a year raise they offered convinced him. You talk like he left TECH to go to ULM or something.

Actually, Memphis was the first school interested and he turned them down for an interview. No one questioned his move to Tennessee and tripling his salary. It was hard to believe 5-7, 8-5, and 4-8 could get someone that kind of gig actually.

Dykes is a better coach than Dooley. Him leaving was a move up for them. truth/
