Spurs are a “regular season team” I wouldn’t expect much in the postseason unless they get matched up with the playoff rookies, Denver.

you hit a player on the chin, expected it to be called. i dont see much issue with that one. debate of "he didnt hit him that hard" im not sure about.

Yep. Hardwn scores 13 in two minutes to go from down 6 to up 5 and we talking about a 50/50 call. The ref blaming has reached new heights. admittedly it will reach the highest of heitghs if LSU plays duke in the elite 8.

Get outta here with that crap. Harden had two hands on Derozen the entire time. That's a blatant defensive foul. Derozen also didn't hit Harden's chin. He grazed that dumb arse monster beard of his.

From the guy who touts Houston as the the most successful team of the last 20 years b/c of their regular season record even though they have no titles while San Antonio has 5.

Wrong. B didn’t ever say that. Or anything close to it.

I am a big fan of the whole league and am a stickler for ranking teams and players where they belong in the pecking order. I wouldn’t put cc #1 over the last twenty unless they truly were.

I understand Harden was hit on the chin, but he was hit on the chin because he was in Derozan’s space when attempting a shot. I’m less mad, more confused at how the call was in any way on Derozan

Think about it, if player A has his arm in front of player B (let’s say Harden bc he’s a bitch and does this quite a lot), player B will do a swipe through move (not a legit shooting motion) and hook the guys arm while attempting a shot and get the call

How would Derozan’s arm being hit by Harden’s head not be a foul on Harden? Makes no sense

Elbow to the head is different. It’s important to protect players from getting hit in the head with an elbow. When they are in a legal guarding position.

Boom cmon now, was Derozan not in legal shooting position? He jumped backwards and Harden got hit, literally nothing he could do other than alter his own shot to avoid Harden

You didn’t read the rule did you?

Even if derozan is in legal position he cannot hit someone with his elbow in they head.

It’s like when a guy catches a rebound. If he turns and hits someone with his elbow in their head it’s a foul on him.

Here ya go bubbs

When a player attempts to execute a legitimate offensive or defensive move and an extended elbow makes more than marginal contact with a legally established opponent, a personal foul will be assessed.

Both of these can be argued, delay of Harden’s reaction shows that it was not marginal contact, elbow barely touched his beard

Should be fined for the flop

Are you really trying to say Houston had been a better team than SA over the last 20 years?

of course. It is up to the official to determine whether it is marginal or not. I’d say when you pop someone in the chin with your elbow that’s not marginal.

So players can just go start headbutting people’s arms when they shoot a shot jumping straight up, but it would be an offensive foul... right? The problem is that if Harden was close enough for Derozan’s arm (not extended or intended) to hit his head on a shot, it is not Derozan’s fault
