Solution to NBA players that are afraid to play

Forfeit the remainder of their salary from games begin.
Spread said remaining salary to those that play
And also call them the biggest pussies in the world.
-young and the most cardio vascular humans on the planet don’t die from Covid.

Well they can't "spread" their salary but the owners can offer hazard pay to the ones that play. Although you may have some that play one game to obtain the pay and quit.

No, the bigger issue being reported is noncontending teams have players balking at the NBA saying the first 7 weeks in Orlando they're not allowed to have friends/family visit.
The underlying issue is that vets who realize their team won't do much in the playoffs aren't interested in gearing up for 8-12 games.

For younger teams like the Pels or Griz, I get it. You have young guys like Zion, Ingram and Ball that you want to get playing together. Also, none of them have made the playoffs, so I assume that would mean more to them.
Guys like Dame and McCollum for the Blazers, they've done this before and probably realize their best case is eking into the playoffs and probably getting eliminated in the 1st round.

Exactly 22 teams are going to be isolated for 7 weeks, knowing that 14 teams will be sent home by week 8.
And playoff pay in next to nothing.
