Wisconsin, Duke, and Georgia have already done this.

Do you mean an athlete who gets money from Canes can't switch to Zaxbys the next season?
Will Campbell was in TV commercials for a Monroe based attorney as a freshman at LSU. He switched to a Baton Rouge attorney that runs ads statewide by his senior year.
Since that happened, it seems like all of the old attorney's advertising mostly talks about how Monroe people should use attorneys that live in, send their kids to school in , and go to church in, Monroe.

I wrote poorly. I meant switching schools within a defined time period and radius or area.

Not sure but if it's not legal then it's not enforceable. My guess is that restricting movement would not be legal if it was contested in court.

They already have clauses saying you can't license your NIL to another school (without paying a buyout).
They aren't gonna put a clause in there saying you can't play for another school, because that is essentially admitting that it is just pay-for-play, which is still technically against NCAA rules.
