The self-loathing is mostly a ruse to hide their own prejudice. There isn't a more racist group of people in America than a white progressive. Most of them are upper middle class kids who grew up in lily-white areas and have zero interaction with your average black person. These are the people who claim blacks are too poor and too stupid to be able to get an ID to vote. They're also the kind who are most likely to cross the street at night if approached by a black man, despite their constant championing of minorities and their causes.
The self-loathing is also a psychological tool. It's a form of intra-race supremacy. It's a way for the self-loathing whites to differentiate themselves from your average blue-collar, flyover country American family. Notice that most of these types are your coastal elites who think everyone between California and NYC are idiot rubes who need to be ruled by their betters.

Because your point is a stupid one. I don't believe America is a racist country because I believe the people in government despise us all equally and use us all to further their own ends. As for individuals, I believe that white liberals who think people of color need to be saved because they're too poor or too stupid to care for themselves is an inherently racist ideology, much more so than anything being promoted by those right-of-center.

I don’t know why some of you are insisting that Gruden is a victim of cancel culture. Those emails leaked b/c Mark Davis wanted to use any excuse he could find to get out of his 10 year contract w/Gruden. The fact that he resigned so fast likely points to there being far worse emails that he doesn’t want getting out. That Gruden made it so easy by saying dumbass shite in his emails is on him and him alone. Remember when all you Boomers would tell us younger folk to watch what we put on the Internet b/c it could cost us a job? Maybe you old balls farts should take your own damn advice.
