I think that's the fun of the faux rivalry we have.
USC retains the AP MNC's from not only 2003, but 2004 as well.

I think some in our fan base probably hate you guys too. I see the LSU threads over on wearesc.com and I just kinda roll my eyes.
As a lover of good natured hate, it upsets me that we don't play LSU on a regular basis.

Since the BCS formed, all of college football came to an understanding.....at the end of the season, if you aren't holding up a crystal football, you aren't the national champion.

Actually, my math was off, but at least my logic was correct. You're logic is complete off base.
If you're gonna count the AP for SC in one season, then you need to count ALL the AP titles. You can't count 1 for SC and none for the SEC teams.
So, LSU has won 3(2 BCS and 1 AP), Bama has won 2, UF has won 4. That's a total of 9.
SC has won 3.
So, the real correct answer is 33%. You simply can't pick and choose which titles you want to use to obtain the highest % possible to fit your argument.

Dude, we would have totally taken you at the end of that season. A fluke loss vs. Stanford (Pete Carroll left JD Booty in with his broken finger and he threw 4 picks. Very Jarrett Lee of him!) and a tough road loss against a ranked Oregon team were the only blemishes for us on that season.
You got beat by two unranked teams: Kentucky on the road, and Arkansas at home.
Congrats on winning the MNC that year, but we would have beaten you. That was arguably the worst BCS Championship team to win it, and it took an incredible series of events for you to land there. Nobody wanted to play USC at the end of that season.
