2. Who gives a shite if Ohio State is 1 and LSU is 2. As long as both teams take care of business they will get to settle it on the field

Easy Competition in a 4 team playoff

beyond the fact that it actually matters quite a bit in regards to actual football (seeding, who you play, what constitutes a good resume, etc...) we are also message board posters discussing the sport.
"ok guys, nobody talk about the playoff all year long because it will all sort itself out. just sit quietly and don't have ANY fun or interesting conversations"

To be the best, you have to beat the best.
I'm pretty sure most teams actually feel that way, and am 100% sure Joe Burrow feels that way, yet so many posters on here want seem to want to back their way into a championship.

Committee sets a new precedent every single week. That is super subject and the complete opposite of why it was formed in the first place.
