Yeah, because he was NBA ready before Jordan was. Jordan didn't have to go to college. He chose to. The point you were trying to make was fricking terrible.

lebron is the best player the nba has ever seen. he will set all kinds of records. he may not win six championships, but jordan's teams were infinitely better. lebron is just unreal.

Lebron is better at 24 than Jordan was. Or is Lebron still 23?

nope. in jordan's 86-87 season he was 23-24 years old and put 37.1 ppg. it's arguable i guess when you factor in lebron's better rebounds and assists but MJ really blew up in his 24-25 season. he put up 35 ppg while shooting 54% from the field, leading the league in steals, and also adding 6 assists and 6 rebounds per game. lebron could possibly match MJ's season this year, but it would take him maintaining the high level he's started the year at and it would still be hard to say. and i don't see it happening next season.

Not really applicable. The NBA now is a lot "younger" league now than when Jordan played. Tons of guys come out of HS now. At that time, the only guy who had really ever made it big right out of HS was Moses Malone. I don't think Lebron would have been any more ready then than Jordan was. And obviously it's speculative but I'd surmise had Jordan played in this era, he'd have been NBA ready right out of HS.

Further to some of the other points, Jordan didn't make a Finals until 91 because he was playing in the era of the Celtics and Pistons. The Bulls made the playoffs plenty, but usually got ousted by the Celts or Pistons.
