It's all in the perspective I guess. To my way of thinking it takes away, or greatly reduces an element of the game.

Official temp right now where I am in central NH is 17 degrees and it's only 6:30 locally, temps going down below 10 later and winds gusting to 40. Have lost power twice already since this morning.

And my neighbor just left to pick up some snacks for the game... wearing shorts and a sweater.

I disagree. I love football in the snow and cold weather.

Dome football bores me

I agree with this. Why shouldn't football (which was at one time an outdoor sport) have it's biggest game played outdoors. Should be played outdoors more often than indoors for sure.

The Super Bowl has almost nothing to do with football. It has almost everything to do with rewarding their corporate clients. And when all these corporate fat cats' trophy wives and mistresses bitch about three or four days in frigid NYC instead of San Diego or South Beach, that will be the last outdoor northern Super Bowl.

Yet the biggest game of the year is going to be played there. Yeah yeah money talks and all that but it's still a dumbass idea

Yay for a Snow Super Bowl

Should be. You sound like a fan of a finesse team that plays flag football in a dome ? If the Saints want to win they should be able to win one in real conditions, not Nintendo style. Just sayin'. Hater's flame away !

Would be fine with me. I also think they should rotate it between all of the NFL teams stadiums. Why shouldn't Cleveland/Chicago/Cincinnati/ get to host a SB.

A Chicago Super Bowl would be awesome. I'm sure fanbases would love to fall into the Super Bowl in Cleveland too.

I look forward to a game in less than ideal conditions. Old school football as it was meant to be played.

I love playoff games in snow/wind/cold temps. I was at the Cincy/San Diego game in 1982. Real football conditions as the game was intended.

I really hope the Super Bowl is like super blizzard type conditions. Where you can't see 10 feet in front of you and it screws with the camera equipment.

I want nobody to see the game being played. I want people to spend tens of thousands of dollars for 50 yard line seats and not even show up.

I can't wait, it's going to be marvelous.

Circumstances caught up w/ San Diego in that one. It would have been a hell of a game b/t SF and SD ! Cincy deserved the home field and took advantage of it. SD was worn out and there was almost no way they could win that game. Those (SD v Miami . SD v
Cincy) were some classic games I will always remember.

That would remind me of football in the 60's and 70's, the way it should be !

Outdoor football reminds me of amateur and college ball.

Not professional.

I want it every year in Miami for tourism money.

But since it's going to be a Snow Superbowl, I want to see winds blowing passes into defenders' hands, sleet, snow, everything.
