Classic teams, likeable young quarterbacks, Andy Reed, new blood Coach on the other side, Honey Badger, Bosa, etc.

I'm excited for it. Two teams that haven't been there in a while. Both are exciting to watch and have great offenses.

I'm interested to see how KC attacks the 9ers D.

Should be a great game. But his w many east of the Mississippi will watch it. It's starts at 6:30 eastern time. That means it won't end until after 11. How many people you gonna keep at a SB party that late. IMO the game should start no later than 4:30 eastern time. But whatever.

It's on a Sunday, not Tuesday.

It's worked before bub.....the 1982 SB started at like 2:30 eastern time with a West coast team in it and it's still one of the highest rated SBS ever.

But peej is correct it was a ratings monster

Super Bowl XVI also became one of the most watched broadcasts in American television history, with more than 85 million viewers, and a final national Nielsen rating of 49.1 (a 73 share).[4]

The Super Bowl has lost its luster in my eyes. I guess it depends on how old a person is. But I have watched every one. IMO it just seemed to mean more back in the 70's and 80's. To be honest the last SB I watched that felt like SB was the 1991 game with the Bills and Giants. I have watched the rest but it just doesn't feel the same year after year. BUT it was nice to see the long suffering Saints win one.

Well, they've been doing it this way for years and people manage to stay at Super Bowl parties.

NFL clock rules don't let this happen unless the game goes to overtime. This isn't a college game.

They're not starting the game at 1:30 PT when the game involves the Niners. Punish the fans of a participating team just so East Coasters don't have to stay up past their bed time?

You gotta give Niner fans time to get together and BBQ and drink all day before the game.
