Doesn't Idaho stadium house both basketball and football?

Guessing the Carrier Dome is the only other college that does that?

Its not as nice as

Bryant Denny
Michigan Stadium
Beaver Stadium
The Swamp
Tiger Stadium
Sandford Stadium
Spartan Stadium
Camp Randall
The Rose Bowl
Neyland Stadium
Jordan Hare Stadium

I respect the Shoe for its history, and what it means to your program. Its just not very nice. Its old, and unlike the big house it hasn't aged well. There are lots of obstructed views. It needs about 100 million dollars worth of renovations. If you weren't blinded by OSU loyalty you would be able to see it to. Clevelanders loved the Muni, but it was a shithole that needed to be replaced.

And its not the worst college stadium I've ever been to. Its better than Purdue's and Ole Miss's.

I believe it does.

Not sure but Carrier Dome is by far the most notable of those that do.

Not necessarily the worst but definitely one of the ugliest, Kyle Field ("The Tacklebox"):

How did we get through two pages without Floyd Casey Stadium and their infamous Tarp O'Shame being mentioned?

Agree, but when I was young there was nothing like opening day in Municipal for the Tribe. 72 thousand or so!

I have no idea how you can say this. It looks nice from the outside with the rotunda and arches, it isn't falling apart, great sightlines from nearly anywhere in the stadium, due to the overhanging C deck (the only time you may have a bad view is B deck if there's a pole in the way, but they're pretty wide and there aren't many of them or if you're sitting literally right next to the pressbox), it's clean, etc.

Not bad at all. They do need to go ahead and put up the brick veneer around the entire outside, but it is a pretty nice stadium.

Not an OSU fan by any means but that is absolute bullshite. Been to the Shoe 5 times, the most recent in 2010 and it's still a freaking Cathedral & is holding up 100 times better than many other CFB Stadiums built after the Shoe.

This is a cathedral

Maybe I shouldn't judge it against the best stadium in the country though.

Nah. I've spoke to alot of visiting fans over the years and practically all of them raved about the stadium. It's old and hasn't aged well? I wish I knew what you were talking about here. It looks fne both inside and out. And it's a very low percentage of seats with obstructed views.

The shoe is far from needing replaced.

When I drew the Cleveland Stadium comparison, I didn't mean that the Shoe needed to be replaced. The Shoe is no where near the shithole that the Muni was. I was just using that to show the effect that it has for the fans. If OSU pumped 100 million into the Shoe it could be a state of the art facility.

Michigan Stadium wasn't that great until the added on the boxes and re-did the the inside of the stadium. Now its awesome.

Place was mediocre before the latest 2 renovations. Not sure if it is the best in the country now, but it is in the conversation for sure.

Not gonna get much argument out of me. Its phenomenal now though. Although an Auburn grad and my roomates grandfather designed the previous two upper decks. So Rock Chambless says frick you very much.

They've done a lot of work on it to make it look nicer, but USM's stadium used to be pretty bad.
