Or the chip on his shoulder. Deion wasn't a rich kid growing up with everything given to him. As flashy and cocky as he was, he also came from absolutely nothing and had nothing to fall back on if he failed. And obviously he was a generational athlete and his children are not even close to that.

Worried about PR . All the talking heads like this Dov guy interviewing Chris Carter floating the collusion theory …stirring the pot for ratings , creating conflict . Kiper suggesting as much . Easier to draft him low and turn off negative publicity . He can be cut at anytime and no salary guarantee .
