I'm a 54 yo Laker fan and agree with you. Magic & Kareem always first come to mind for me but maybe that's because the 80s simply resonate with me more.

It has to feel amazing to be a fan of a team that just every 5 or so years for their entire history "magically" gets the best player in the world.
This is the way I feel about the Yankees and Madrid.

I don't know much about basketball

but I thought Luka was a beast

is AD still that dominant? Is this a good trade?

It has the potential to be one of the worst trades in sports history.

The way the Mavs handled it is at best egregious malpractice and at worst much more nefarious.

AD is still a great player when he plays, and a good fit for the Mavs. In the short term they are good.

In the long term they made one of the worst moves a team could possibly make. A 25 year old MVP caliber player for a defensive PF/C and a future first.

The worst part is they didn't contact other teams. Only the Lakers.

I wouldn’t even say they lucked out, most people are in agreement this was borderline collusion from the league to save the Lakers with the ratings declining massively.

The dumbest part of the trade is that they didn't get the 31 pick from the Lakers. If the Mavs ask for the 31, do the Lakers say no? Of fricking course they don't, they'd still be winning the trade in a landslide.

Not sure how it originally included that then he went backwards? Just made up reporting I'd assume. Especially if Nico was the only person who knew.

No, not like Darren sharper. He was convicted after his time with the saints.

The Lakers built a statue of their rapist.

??? are you retarded or something? I called you a hypocrite...

"The Saints' and Pelicans' top spokesperson, Greg Bensel, involved the organizations in the archdiocese's clergy-abuse scandal with the blessing of the teams' owner - and without being asked to do so by the church." -WWLTV

The Saints have a newly renovated stadium and the purchase will likely be split to separate owners. Whoever buys the Pelicans is leaving the Smoothie King Center and the wishy washy fanbase, and you are dumb as rocks if you believe otherwise.
