With Kournikova? I was when I was a junior in HS, sure.
Now I'm simply arguing with the dude who said she "had no business being in the top 100". I'm pointing out that, first of all, that doesn't even make any sense. And that second of all, Kournikova was a talented player.

Kounikova was top 10 in the world. Top 10. She then parlayed that into a successful career outside the tennis court. Being top 10 in a profession is better then everyone of you shits on here. The work she put in from 6-18 would make mouthbreathers like yall die in minutes. I freaking love it when people think athletes owe them something

Can we please get this thread back to the original point?
No one has been able to come up with an adequate reason for why Williams seemed zonked out of her gourd at center court of Wimbledon.
I seriously doubt a "viral infection" would have impaired her so much that she couldn't even catch balls from the ball boys because her timing was so off.
That seems more like something drug-induced or a severe neuro-muscular condition of some type.

Not to mention, even without winning a tournament, she was better at what she did than 99.99999999% of us at our professions.
