Most of the sec homers only watch sec football. Unless you watch the other conferences, you shouldn’t open your mouth.
Yes the SEC is talented and in general have the big boys up front. But other teams and conferences can still play good football.

Yeah but Ohio State looked awful as their #2. Just horrible. Outweighs it easily.

Nobody ever said A&M was a mighty team. They had a weak schedule

Alabama finished as the SEC #2 did they not?
Posted on 1/1/26 at 5:56 pm to lsupride87
Miami finished as the #4 team in the ACC did they not?

Miami finished as the #4 team in the ACC did they not?
And the number 12 team in the ACC also beat bama. Worth noting here

So it doesn’t mean that much

The SEC is undoubtedly the deeper conference.
Not true. SEC post season records suggest otherwise.

Tell us why you think the sec is deeper currently. Go on

7 teams ranked in the top 14, but go ahead and talk about the bowl games

The middle and bottom of the big ten won their bowl games. Iowa dropped several INT and a TD that was pitch and catch and ended up an INT and still had a 2-3 score lead most of the second half against 10-2 SEC Vandy. Vandy wound up staying in it by completing 3-4 bombs
There was 1 opt out, a tight end.
Illinois put up 200+ on the ground and 400 total to beat Tennessee, in Tennessee, both had 4-5 opt outs.
The SEC was a vastly overrated league. They proved it on the field. 5/12 playoffs and it will be a coin flip whether or not they fail to field a participant in the title game for the 3rd straight year.
