McHale is going to have to figure out how to maximize our talent during the playoffs. Let Harden and Howard dominate every other game
Or get a system that keeps role players involved and gets them open shots. I still see too many guys passing up open players, I hate to see them avoid a pass to try and draw a foul, just not team basketball.

Hakeem Olajuwon inside-out would be perfect. You just have to get Harden on board with that.

Also, I'm surprised that Rockets' success seems to be extremely dependent on hitting from 3. I didn't expect scoring in the paint to be an issue for a team with Harden and Howard.
They also shoot the most 3's.
They have basically eliminated the mid-range shot from their offense. Everything is either in the paint or beyond the 3-point line.

D12's offense
He's starting to understand how to get it done
Best player on the team imo. He brings the O and D

Aldridge had taken 90 more midrange shots than the whole rockets roster before last nights game

Incredible stat. I wonder why Morey likes Aldridge considering he hates the midrange shot.

Because he makes them. It's only a bad shot when they don't go in. With the way Portland has Been playing he's not going anywhere.

I agree with you. He looks as good offensively as I've ever seen him and he's even knocking down free throws. We're going to get better as the team gels and gets use to playing with a guy like him.
We're a much better team with Lin on the court. When he doesn't try to do too much he's a really good player. Parsons is on fire tonight.

So after the Rockets literally blast off in the 1st Q against the Spurs, its a 7 point game all the sudden.

No lead is ever safe against the Spurs. Need to keep Getting Parsons shots

Harden took over in the 4th. That's the way this team is suppose to play. Move the ball, take good shots, make your opponent shoot jumpers and let Dwight gobble up the boards.
Next game vs New Orleans.

Huge win. 2-0 against the Spurs.

Not trying to pour coal on the Rockets Christmas party, but from the start of this game the Spurs looked really lethargic.

Spurs look lethargic when teams make them run.

No matter who the Rockets get for Asik, I think they need to keep this starting 5 together. Terrence Jones has looked great after being given the chance to start. Lin and Parsons are making great strides too, good team chemistry with this group.

So their aging roster is going to have more stamina after a full season? Lulz

When Beverly is healthy, he should be starting and Lin the 6th man.
