I wish the league would go back to the #1 team playing the #8 team. It’s a much better way to crown a champion. And it puts more emphasis on the regular season.

Then do away with divisions and play equal games within the conferences.

I wouldn’t be opposed to that, but I’m sure many teams wouldn’t like all the additional longer West Coast/East Coast road trips.

I completely agree. I’ve seen enough of Capitals/Penguins. I don’t need to see it anymore. Other sports have tried to force rivalries, and it rarely works.

The Avs are absolutely buzzing right now.
