Sean Miller sounds like a dead man walking.

The speech after The Arizona State game is telling.
Sean Miller’s farewell speech?

The thought that the NCAA is just going to pretend like none of this ever happened is hysterical.
i mean we're kind of reaching levels of fraud then...by the NCAA
if they actually investigate this and go by the letter of the law, effectively the 2019 season is invalidated. why are we even going forward with the farce?
Duke is the primary barometer. if the NCAA is going to take this super serious, then they've committed major violations by playing an obviously ineligible player all year. they should be fricked even if the NCAA can't find their payments to Zion

If Wade is going down, it will probably be from the lsu admin.
If he goes down from the ncaa, blue bloods heads should roll

Obviously ineligible based on his talent?

If they have Duke on tape offering money then it will become the barometer. Until then you are connecting dots that you think are there. Of course Duke cheats. Almost everyone cheats.
I expect a lot more to come out on Duke but I don’t think you’ll see Coach K because he has other people do their dirty work. He can claim ignorance and clean house.
The difference with Arizona and LSU is that it was coming from the top and there was evidence of it. An assistant coach cheating and a head coach cheating are going to be handled differently by the NCAA. Unless it’s just completely out of control (Louisville)
I think more news drops this week and it’ll be fascinating to see who else is implicated and to what extent.

I mean, I don't think the other "competitive offers" Wade was going up against were from Rhode Island and Stetson.

Zion was implicated in, at latest, October 2018
family receiving/requesting benefits violates the "Cam Newton" rule

Duke knew in October that Zion should not be eligible and continued to play him. it doesn't require evidence that Duke paid him to create a major violation. playing a known ineligible player gets you there

yes this fricks Wade hard and he deserves it for gossiping like a school girl on a phone
but the schools are all going to have to face NCAA penalties for this
it's a can of worms, too. 50 (i think) schools are implicated on the tapes, but that's not the whole story. take javonte smart. LSU is directly implicated, sure, but we weren't the only school recruiting him.
so then you investigate all the schools recruiting that player. you won't find evidence on all of them, but you find evidence for a few schools in that group. so you investigate all THEIR recruits....and each one had competitors, so you do this again and again
you know disease outbreak movies when they show the board of infection? if the NCAA does a proper investigation, that's what this will be

I wonder when it will lead to his right hand man for many years, Chris Mack at Xavier
Always found it hilarious that Louisville fired a coach for FBI corruption and then hired one just as connected to it

I just wish the schools would break from the NCAA with football and basketball and do their own thing.

That’s rich, coming from you.
Let’s put this way with Zion’s father asking Kansas for money, & him going on to Duke.
When I frick your mother, I do all sorts of nasty things that I’d never ask my wife to do.
You ask a dirty whore to do dirty things.

even if you're arguing, somehow, that Duke is the clean program and Kansas is the dirty whore, it's irrelevant
his parents frick his eligibility by seeking money. Duke knew in October of this issue and continued to play him. that's a violation

I'm not going to talk LSU, but saying this about Arizona ignores a number of major issues with the "evidence." I'll link the thread where I rant abiut that instead of ranting about it.

To OP's point, Miller says the same thing every senior day and multiple 2019 recruits were in attendance who tweeted about conversations with Miller about him coaching them next year.

Miller has no intention of going anywhere. The school has backed him to this point and that wont change unless the April trial proves he lied. Any talk over him leaving was squashed within minutes by the Tucson media, but the national guys ran with it because they were lazy.

I agree with most of this. I think Miller would leave just because of how difficult the last couple years have been, but right now, there's so much national stuff around his name he really can't.
Heeke is a dumpster fire, but Miller has a lot of fan, president and booster support.
You're 100% right on how this is a nonstory propped up by people looking for controversy.

He would most definitely leave if someone hired him. He begged for the Pittsburg job, but their President wanted nothing to do with him.
Bottom line he isn't walking away from $3.5 million/year unless someone else matches, which wont happen anytime soon.
I have stated many times I want him gone because he just isn't very good. Arizona has the resources to compete for Final Fours and miller will never get us there. His X's and O's just are not good enough. Its a horrible situation for Arizona basketball all around.
