They didn't win together. Only when Phil Jackson showed them how to play together with his triangle offense and they learned to share the basketball did the Bulls win.
Well I guess that further drives home the point that it wasn't MJ dragging this group to the NBA Finals, their success took a total organizational effort.

Yeah he came back late 95 out of shape and was still better than most of the NBA.

Lebron would have come back(at that age) and instantly been the best player in the league and you know it.

Why can’t we just say that Michael Jordan and Lebron James are the best players in NBA history? There’s no objective way to make any other determination.

Throw in Kareem and I’m good. They’ve all been fun to watch.

i wouldn't say he was horrible before Pippen, but he sure as shite wasn't successful before Pippen... and don't forget how important Horace Grant was either... the difference is Jordan was fortunate to have had a team constructed organically, through good drafting, vs. having to assemble a team via free agency...
but acting like Jordan did everything by himself during the Bulls run is EXTREME revisionist history, and I'm a huge Jordan fan, always have been always will be...

Scotty has multiple reasons why he hates Jordan but no one mentions the most obvious. When Jordan retired the first time he finally had the opportunity to step out of his shadow and be the man. It was his moment to show he was a franchise player capable of leading a team to championships. Less than two years later Jordan returned and he was relegated back to being Robin to Jordan's Batman. Jordan wins three more championships and Pippen never gets another opportunity to be the franchise player outside of Jordan's shadow.
