Well he’s right about being the best statistically. To go with all time scoring leader, he’ll end up no worse than 4th all time if he retires today. But stats don’t make you the best. MJ is the GOAT. Pippen is just trying to keep his name relevant.

Also, 93 Bulls finished 57-25. Take MJ off the team and they finish 55-27 and Pippen is 3rd in MVP voting.
Pippen finished top 7 in the MVP race 4 straight years and top 11 5 years in a row.
It doesn’t seem out of the question that adding every scoring focused top 300 player to ever play would be enough to push Scottie’s Bulls over the top to win championships.
It doesn’t seem out of the question that MJ has about 2-3 rings without Pippen and Phil Jackson.
