How is CNN a step up for a sports reporter from CNN? I can't name a single sports reporter from
CNN ?

Never.

Lemon lost me when he started crying on the air bout his mother fearing for his life every time he left home at night. Her fear? Him being stopped by the police.

I don't think she's going to CNN to cover sports.

No female sports reporter wants to stay a sports reporter. Pretty clear ceiling there. If you can't concede that CNN is a better gig than the SEC Network//ESPN, I don't know what to tell you, guy.

Wow, that's funny.

You say that like you just assume everyone else is the same exact way.

You realize there are people who can name every CNN reporter but no ESPN reporters?

The link says she'll be a national correspondent, it doesn't mention sports.

A couple of quick articles I found says her job will focus on news coverage, not sports as well.

She'll have a Brook Baldwin type gig within 10 years. This is where you start.

She will probably be back at ESPN or another sports network in the next few years.
