Washington has some amazing crazy names

There is no crowd.
Inslee won't allow it. In fact, there is a mandatory 14-day quarantine for anyone entering or returning to the state.

Inslee = JBE garbage. I’m watching my seats on TV getting rained on.

That sucks.

Inslee is much worse than JBE. At least JBE has a Republican Legislature. Washington has been 1-party rule for almost 35 years.

Yes, Inslee may be worse but the GOP has led or split at least one of the chambers most of the time in Olympia. Washington is a Republican state with a very Democrat major metro in it’s middle. There are only 4-6 hardcore Democrat counties out of the 39. Sadly the least politically diverse county in the state is home to 2,000,000+ people.
Thankfully the citizens initiative system keeps things in check. Still no income tax! If you are Republican, retire to rural Washington!

What is the read on this Washington team? I know Petersen left after a ho-hum season, but they're 2 years removed from three straight NY6 bowls.
The Pac-12 season was obviously in doubt for a while, but they're unranked, and very little seemed to be said about them in the offseason. I'm still not sure what to make of them after this 1st half either.

Yakima is nice for rural Washington

The feeling locally is that it is the waiting year for Huard (5 star QB prospect). If they can figure out the QB position, it could be a fun short season.

After watching uSC and Ole Miss, I didn’t think there would be a game that would be as entertaining but this one has been good so far

People don't realize it, but UW has the highest blue chip % in the Pac-12 and is the only team in the conference over the line said to be needed to be able to win a national title. Zero chance we do, but the roster is loaded with talent. Almost all of them are Freshmen and Sophomores though.
The defense should be very solid, but hasn't looked great tonight. The offense is a huge question mark. Not very big expectations this year. I think best case we go 5-1. Probably 4-2 is my guess. Like Snoop said, hopefully Huard can be a big boost and we really take advantage of our young talent in 2022-2024. That's our chance at taking the next step. This is a transition year in my opinion.

LOL. One of the armpits of the state. Quite unreal. Wenatchee, Walla Walla, Tri-Cities all MUCH better than Yakima. You’re crazy.

Glad to know this. I have a soft spot for the Huskies because Don James is from my dad's hometown, and Don's older brother went to high school with my grandfather, when Paul Brown was the HC.
College football is better when Washington is good.
