That's not good with a season like that. You would think the fan base would be happy to attend a bowl game that was not probable a couple months ago. Hud cannot have another season like this

honestly, I can't really blame people for not wanting to go, especially after Hud called people who voted for Trump hypocrites, along with the abysmal offensive showing all season, just to name a couple

I doubt that had much to do with it.
More than likely the low sales were b/c after 41 years of no postseason play this is their 5th NOLA Bowl in 6 years and instead of their normal 8-4 they squeaked in w/a 6-6 record and were playing a 6-6 USM which is easily the worst team they have gone against during this stretch.

Thats the number that I heard were sold through the school itself. There were definitely many more Cajun fans there than that, but to buy priority tickets through the school you have to be an rcaf member with points. Many people bought tickets through other means.
With that being said, there were no where near as many Cajun fans as in the past 4 Nola bowls

Great win for the Eagles, but our coaching staff has some work to do to prepare for next season. Hopson's game-management skills are terrible, and it showed on ULL's final drive with those two timeouts.
It was fun sitting on the ULL side for the game though!

I saw this game and had to comment even though I'm so late. I'm sorry for y'all, I'll apologize for Anthony Jennings. I thought this kid would have a great season for y'all like most QB's that transfer to another school in their final year does. But this guy is just plain garbage and I hope it's over for him. Don't try the Arena league or anything Anthony?? You don't have it! I wish y'all still had last years QB, what's his name?? Broadway I think?? That kid was good and y'all would have won this game. Good luck, next season!

School has blocked WatchEspn from the interwebz this year, they got mad at some degenerates watching the NCAA Regionals last spring. I told them it was educational, but alas, my plea fell upon the cold and ruthless ear of the IT tree hugger chick.
