I still gotta pull for my guy Jose, but this is the first Finals in a while where I'm happy with whichever team wins.

While I obviously want SA to win, they're already waaaaay ahead of schedule, even optimistically, so I'd be fine with what's turned out to be an incredible season. This series is pretty personal for me--my old roommate from A&M is from PA and always been a HUGE nYk fan. We've been rooting for a '99 Finals rematch since he and I met literally 20 years ago. We used to run this matchup in video games all the time back in the day! I'd be crazy happy for him.
Just looking forward to good hoops as the basketball gods intended!

Even *I've* never been to a Finals game
Only other time I was living in San Antonio when they made the Finals was literally 1999 when I was 10 years old, and there was no way we could take the whole fam. Those tickets are way too pricey for ya boi this go round, too, but did have a chance to take them to their first playoff games! Got nosebleeds for a couple of round 2 games against Minnesota and had a blast.

That's awesome. I took my boys to the playoffs in 22 and they fell in love with basketball. Unfortunately my oldest is now bitching about summer workouts for the sport he loves. I get it I was shithead preteen too. Use your social media clout to get some tickets comped.
