Read again dumbfrick. That was around the time I started hating them. I was also around 10 years old and they were our only real rival. I've hated them since.

Falcons getting destroyed by NE in the Superdome would be palatable for me...I think.

Living in SF with Niners winning a superbowl is a potential horror for me.

You have no reason to justify why some dislikes something. I hate Atlanta more because of you. Thanks.

I agree, but now, does not mean just this season when you are talking about the overall strength of a franchise. The Redskins last won the SB 21 years ago. Since then their best season is 10-6, the Saints have had 4 seasons better in that time frame, including 3 of the last 4, plus 2 10-6 seasons. In those 21 years, the Saints had the better record 12 times, the Redskins 7, twice they had the same record. So I don't think it is arbitrary to say the Saints have been better in the recent past.

It's not arbitrary, I guess, just pretty meaningless. Saints might win it all next year. So might the Skins. Hell, so might the Cow.. never mind.

Anyway, my point is: things move fast now, and what a team did 3 years ago isn't as relevant as it used to be.

The Falcons winning a Super Bowl on their home field? or something else?

We still own the Falcons. Them winning the Super Bowl anywhere is good for them, insignificant to us.

The idea of Saints fans having to choose between seeing the Falcons win a Super Bowl in New Orleans, or Brady cementing himself as a better quarterback than Drew Brees can ever aspire to be, by winning a 4th Super Bowl, does make me smile inside.

DaG you might want some Bar B Que to add to your corn, that was a good cheap shot

The Saints worst nightmare is they find out another pay for play happened after this one. The NFL owners went after them hard last time, who knows how bad it would be next?

I'll grant you in an era where the Cardnials have made the SB and the Clippers have one of the best teams, having a strong owner is not as important as it was in the 1980's, though I still think that is Dallas' biggest problem

r Brady cementing himself as a better quarterback than Drew Brees

Cementing? How is that even debatable now?

Dude you won't find many saints fans who will argue that drew is better than Brady. I mean drew is awesome but it can be argued Brady is the best ever. I think you are just reaching now.

Brady probably is the best ever; if you don't think Saintards will try to say Brees is better, you must be new to MSB.

Nah, we're just not judging an entire fanbase on a couple of unhinged message board posters.

I personally think Brady is the best, but out of the big 4 you can make an argument for any of them being the best.

I probably read and post here more than you. Some of you just like to lump all saints fans into a category of being idiots.

This is dumb flagship. Brees is the shite. Best QB in Saints history, but Brady has proven himself over a longer period of time to be the in the conversation as the GOAT. Montana was my benchmark, but Brady has probably surpassed him when it is all said and done.
