I can absolutely get on board with this. Herbert is way better than I thought he would be.

The guy who completely avoids all mention of him calling Ja’Maar Chase a bust still coming into threads thinking he’s the smartest one around and oozing confidence with his takes is very very funny.

Literally no one outside of this board would rank Ekeler as a better back than Mixon.

That’s cute. Preseason and fantasy rankings.

Would you rather use current rankings? Ekeler has more total yards, a higher YPC, higher YPT and more TDs.

Where has Herbert gone in the NFL so far?

You mean other than ROTY and numerous rookie records and NFL records?

This board will never accept the universal truths about Burrow and Herbert. 50th in education has taken it’s toll on Louisiana.

I mean I just don’t get this thread at all

Both QBs are playing great and their respective teams are 3–1

Why would either team think they “missed out” or “chose wrong” at this point?

I’m feeling pretty fricking good if I’m either team with this as my second year QB

72.9%—247 yards/g—2.25tds/g—1 int/g—113 rating

68.9%—294 yards//g—2.25tds/g—0.75int/g—100 rating

Him getting rookie of the year over Jefferson was a fricking joke. 7-9 record ROTY

Universal how? They both are 3-1 and currently with essentially the same points scored and points allowed. What metric can you point to right now to say Herbert is clearly better than Burrow? You are basically the only person making this claim right now,.

32 NFL teams would have picked Burrow first.

Neither, just smarter than you. It’s okay though, you’ll always have 2019

The issues around Herbert pre-draft were the intangibles - he has all the physical tools but would shrink in the big game and sometimes seemed like he didn't want to be there. He had never lived outside of Eugene OR.

You can say Washington, Detroit, and NYG also made big mistakes not drafting Herbert based off what has happened in the last 1.25 years.

Now clearly he is proving everyone wrong but it's way too early to make these calls. Except for Tua, he had lots of red flags and is probably a legitimate bust.
