I woke up. Contemplating how I approach Monday. The sky is falling fast.

We'll be alright. Spurs are pissed. I like that. Last year's first round was basically a bye. This year SA actually has to bring some nasty right off the bat. Hope getting stung like that in game 3 hurt their pride enough to play with a chip on their shoulders.

I for one am glad to look at a box score and see other people carrying some of the load instead of Dirk scoring 30-35 and the rest scoring 10. Monte Ellis has been the biggest pickup for anyone this past season, bar none. Dude has been money in a Mavs uniform. Calderon finally decided to earn his paycheck too and it's spelling wins.
So far this group is playing like the 2011 squad it was so clearly modeled after.
Dalambert is worse than Chandler, but I'd argue that Calderon and Ellis are better than that year's versions of Kidd and JET.
Dirk isn't quite the same, but it gives me confidence in this series. He's not what he once was, but he's still got a complete take-over game in him, and it's going to come eventually.
I'll be interested to see how the relatively short rest compared to the first 3 games affects each squad with the increased playoff minutes.

Reminds me of the year Dallas had a high seed and had to face a much lower seeded but healthy Spurs team.

Yup, 2009. We were the 7 seed and Dallas was the 2 and SA won the series even after dropping the first game.

Yup, thanks for asking!
Lotta wind but no property damage or anything else really major, thankfully.
Enjoy the game!

Another bad start for SA. Mavs up 9-2. Timeout Spurs.

Nothing will fall for the Spurs!

SA shooting 25%
Somehow only down 6.
This game is close in spite of ourselves.
