Yup, they had a 10 game winning streak leading into the playoffs, then won the first 10 games before getting bounced by OKC.

Shame, really. The series started getting called tighter, and that favored the Thunder more. Wish I could just blame the refs, but SA did not/could not adjust their style of play to what was required (and still nearly won--Harden's ridiculous shot won game 5 and Ibaka came out of nowhere to shoot 11/11 in the deciding game )

I agree. And that right there is one of the potential negatives of an extended win streak. WHEN adversity strikes in the postseason, the shite that got you there needs to be tweaked to keep you winning. Win so many games in a row, and it can kinda lull a team to sleep if you're not careful.

I'm less worried about the mental aspect of that with this particular Spurs team than with the '12 iteration, though.

This Spurs team is facing adversity every day with the game 6 haunting them. Not sure if it gets worse than that.

I mean, honestly. Have gone above and beyond trying to keep this from being a troll thread definitely could have cracked on NO fans if I wanted to, but that's not my style against a non rival team.

SA has dealt with injuries all year, just like a lot of teams. We've just been fortunate to have a bench that's stepped up and carried us as a collective.
