Nobody cares about NO in San Antonio man

Hell, Pop might throw that game just to end this distracting winning streak

Good luck to y'all

Calm yourself

Believe it or not, I do know what it's like to see my team struggle through subpar years. The worm will turn for y'all--you're going the right direction.

Well, I did say "subpar," not "miss the playoffs"

Hey...I remember that 96-97 season...I believe Dominique Wilkins was the Spurs leading scorer that year.

I'd give my left nut and first born for Pop to be coaching Brow and Pellis

We're lucky as Spurs fans that Pop didn't get run out of town prematurely.

I can remember like it was yesterday some folks clamoring for him to be fired after we got off to a poor start in '99. Crazy to think about in hindsight.

Started off 6-8, then won 31 of 36 and won our first title, and the rest is history. Been a helluva ride.

Yeah, injuries killed an otherwise good team, but obviously that season shaped the franchise.

Yup, The Admiral had a bad back, and Sean Elliott was injured most of the year too.

And hell yes, we tanked to get in position to get Timmy. Don't regret it a bit.

Yeah, that start to 99 was rough. The locals had given up on him. I guess in a lockout year there was no point in canning a guy 14 games in.

That year was so special. I was 10 years old, living in Universal City, and remember how that lame old "Go Spurs Go" slogan just took hold of the city Good times.

I agree with the slogan...but it's taken hold for sure. That city needed that title. I kind of wish they could have won one in Hemisfair Arena.
